I would like to buy my mothers house. My sister holds her power of attourney for real estate. Does she have control over what I can do and can't do?

If your sister's power of attorney from your mother gives her the right to sell the house, then the simple answer to your question as it pertains to the home is, yes, unless your mother now herself decides to sell the property to you.

However, as your mother¿s agent under the power of attorney, your sister is legally obligated to act according to her interests and wishes, and your mother, if still legally competent, can also revoke her power at any time and for any reason.
